Seriously.
I'm not trying to hate on them specifically - you can trace historical roots to the creation/founding of all religions - but Mormonism is blatantly made-up.
In fact, by treating Mormonism as a "real" religion, you inadvertently offend the status of the other religions. Look, no one takes Jedi seriously (except in Australia), but it has more of a claim to being an authentic religion.
Ok, ok, religion is subjective, blah, blah. In the spirit of civility and compromise, let's just call it a cult.
PS - Mitt Romney, Jon Huntsman, Harry Reid, and Glenn Beck are all members of a cult.
